Wales international Lawrence has yet to find a new club after leaving Rangers in the summer. Only 31, the ex-Derby County captain endured an injury-hit few years at Ibrox but was back to full fitness at the end of last season.

Another who has been plagued by injuries in recent years, McKay remains without a club following his release from Hearts. The ex-Rangers star, 30, has bundles of talent and would be a valuable addition to plenty SPFL clubs.

The versatile Mexican stopper, 29, was a key figure throughout Tony Docherty's reign at Dundee. A fans' favourite at Dens Park, Portales was expected to return to his homeland to boost his chances of playing at the World Cup but remains unattached for now.
