Four teenagers arrested and charged after violent assault in Scots city
Police were called to the Upperkirkgate area in Aberdeen following reports of two males being seriously assaulted and a third male being assaulted.
Four teenagers have been arrested and charged after three males were assaulted in Aberdeen.
Police were called to the Upperkirkgate area in the city centre following reports of two males being seriously assaulted and a third male being assaulted at around 7pm on Thursday, October 16.
As reported by Aberdeen Live, a vehicle was also vandalised and property was stolen from one of the victims.
A 29-year-old man and a male youth were rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Two boys aged 16, a 15-year-old boy and a 14-year old boy have been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault. A male youth has also been charged in connection with the incident.
All five will be reported to the relevant authorities.
Police Constable Crawford, of the Community Action Team, said: “The violence and disorder that occurred during this incident was completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
“Anyone engaging in violence within the city centre will be dealt with robustly, charged and reported to the relevant authorities.
“In addition, anyone congregating in large groups and causing deliberate intimidating or encouraging violence will find themselves the subject of police attention.
“The impact of violence can be long lasting for victims, and we are continuing to support those involved in this incident.”
