A nine-month-old baby has died after a dog attack at a home.
Gwent Police said officers responded to an alert in Rogiet, Wales, at 6pm on Sunday. Officers went to the scene along with paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service.
Eyewitnnesses said the huge emergency response included up to nine ambulances, dozens of police vehicles, and an armed response unit, reports the Mirror.
Police said that the baby was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

Gwent Police Chief Superintendent John Davies said the investigation is ongoing and asked anyone with information to get in touch.
He said: "We understand that there will be concerns around this incident, but officers are on scene and will be making further enquiries as the investigation progresses.
"If you have concerns or information then please do stop and talk with us.
"Anyone with information is asked to call us on 101, quoting log reference 2500349915."
The Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed they were called to reports of a medical emergency just after 6pm today.
A statement said: "We were called today at 18.02 to reports of a medical emergency in Rogiet, Caldicot.
"We sent one Cymru High Acuity Response Unit, an Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, a Duty Operations Manager and one Emergency Ambulance. #
"Crews were supported by our Hazardous Area Response Team."
