Photos of Glasgow train derailment in Cumbria after carriages hit landslide at 80mph
A major Incident was declared on Monday morning after a Glasgow to London train derailed.

First Minister John Swinney has called for a "detailed Investigation" following the train derailment near Shap in Cumbria. The high-speed train is said to have hit a landslide whilst travelling at 80mph.
British Transport Police have said the passengers have been safely removed from the train, adding there are no reported casualties. Roughly 130 passengers have been taken to the nearby Shap Wells Hotel.
Our aerial images show the mangled and smashed wreckage left following the incident. They show extensive damage at the front of the train. Network Rail engineers were also seen on the tracks.
The 11-carriage service derailed at about 6.15am which will cause significant disruption over the next few days.
