Strictly's Dianne Buswell shares heartwarming moment she told family about pregnancy

Professional dancer Dianne Buswell is expecting her first child with YouTube star Joe Sugg.

Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has taken to social media to share the sweet moment when she told her family in Australia that she is pregnant.

Back in September, the professional dancer announced that she and her YouTuber boyfriend Joe Sugg were expecting their first child, a baby boy.

While the couple revealed their exciting news to their fans through social media, sharing a sweet video of the pair painting two stick people and a baby on a canvas, Dianne had to break the news to her immediate family through facetime as they live in Australia.

Despite the 35-year-old saying that it is "hard" being away from her loved ones at special times like this, the couple were able to capture the reactions of her relatives to create a sweet moment, reports the Mirror.

Throughout the Instagram video, Dianne and Joe can be seen breaking the happy news to different family members, who were overjoyed.

In the caption, Dianne wrote: "It's hard being away from my family especially times like these but their reactions are a vision I'll have forever! Haha dad was very much shocked in the beginning and thought we were pranking him."

Fans of the pair have taken to the comments section to share their own joy for the couple, with many getting emotional seeing the families reactions.

One person wrote: "Absolute golden magic moments." While another person added: So special!! All their faces are beaming with joy."

A third social media user also beamed: "Omg I’m gonna have to get the tissues out. Still can’t believe it’s real. Baby boy is loved so so much already."

While Dianne's family seem overjoyed by the baby news, Dianne and Joe revealed last month that they were actually extremely nervous to share the news with their relatives.

Answering some fan questions on YouTube, Dianne opened up about telling her parents. She said: "It was the most nervous I'd ever been. I was so nervous to tell people, I don't know why. I almost put it off."

Joe agreed, saying: "I think it was because it was such a big life moment. I was way more nervous to tell friends and family than I was to tell you lot."

Dianne also added that her father at first thought they were joking and that Joe cried every time they told another important member of their family.

The pair also shared with their fans that they have already picked out the name of their baby boy, as Joe said: "The name that we've come up with, we're not going to share it. We can't really give any clues to it other than I don't really see this name really anywhere.

"I know some people who have it as their surname but it's also the sort of name that can be shortened. I'd say it's quite a unique name but it's not unique as in-," he said, with Dianne adding: "Apple or pear. It's kind of like Joe, isn't it? Cute when you're little, you can call yourself Joseph when you're older."

Joe continued: "Or it could be a good sportsperson name. I've purposefully not said it out loud at all whereas Diane keeps calling him by that name. I do feel like between now and our due date, which is another thing I don't think we're going to share, I worry that we might end up revealing it by accident. From now on, he's called Derek."

Dianne and Joe first met in 2018 when they were partnered up on Strictly Come Dancing. The dancing duo ended up making it to the final, making their new baby boy a true Strictly baby.
